Presenter Biography: Meredith Schilsky, LCSW, is the Chief Creative Director and President of the Board of The Warehouse Project & Gallery (TWP&G). TWP&G is a not for profit organization dedicated to using the arts as a way to create positive social change and neighborhood development by engaging young people in all artistic mediums. Ms. Schilsky is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in diversity and prejudice reduction work, relationship building with the challenging student, and Social/Emotional Learning and Competency. She uses theatre, spoken word, music and other artistic mediums to explore social issues and engage people of all ages in the change making process. Ms. Schilsky has ten years of experience working with youth and invites these young people to share in her presentations whenever possible. Ms. Schilsky is a member of the Illinois NASW Committee on Cultural Competency and Diversity. Additionally, she authored the professional development trainings for The Anti-Biased Framework published by Teaching Tolerance. Ms. Schilsky also works as a School Social Worker for Cook County School District 104 in Illinois.

Exploring Diversity- An interactive presentation on diversity and prejudice reduction focusing on creating strong, safer connections
Challenged!- Learn techniques to engage challenging students both in and out of the classroom.
Beyond the Standards- Practice different techniques and activities that hit the Social/Emotional Learning standards. Whether you have 5 minutes or 40 minutes, learn techniques to build the core competencies both in and out of the classroom.
